Sea Reptilian Movies Perfect for Late Night Bunk Bed Viewing Pt. 2

A list of great movies with sea reptilian creatures that are perfect to watch late at night with a bowl of popcorn while tucked into your twin bunk bed for the night.

Creature from the Black Lagoon

The fish like creature from the Black Lagoon is an indelible imagine in early monster film. The creature is said to be a mix between the land mammals we eventually evolved into and the sea creatures we once were. The scared and frightened creature kills a team of biologist who go to investigate it. The creature for some reason does not kill the woman in the new group that goes to find it but instead takes it to his cavern lair. The doctors follow and find and rescue Kay after riddling the monster with bullets where it sinks into the depths and is killed.

The Reptile

This 1966 horror thriller is about a couple in a small country village who find the village haunted by mysterious deaths from a snake like creature. Made by the cult popular Hammer production company that often filled their films with bad acting, blood and boobs, “The Reptile” has little of either but instead some great macabre atmosphere and a freaky looking part reptile part snake creature that is slightly silly looking but which will still haunt your dreams. Don’t let the oldness of “The Reptile” fool you, it is one of the best older monster films from the era with great acting and atmosphere from the Hammer Production team. Treat yourself to this film on a dark evening.
